*THREE GROUPS OF PEOPLE AND THEIR BELIEFS*

*Those who believe without questions*
These are people who believe whatever you tell them without asking you questions. If you tell them the color is green, even when it’s black, they will believe you.I don’t know if you are here.

*Second, those who believe in nothing*
These kinds of people are cruel and merciless. They can kill and commit alot of evil without their conscience pricking them.
✍️
*However, believe does not establish the existence of what does not exist nor nullifies what does exist*. That’s to say,if you believe in nothing,it doesn’t mean that something to believe does not exist.
✍️
*Third-those who believe with evidence*. This kind of people are not convinced with mere words,no matter the number or authority that is involved.
✍️
If you are talking to them on how to be generous,then you must show them the extent you have been generous so they can be convinced.
✍️
Thomas the apostle belongs to this group. Though other apostles had told him that Jesus appeared to them, he inquired if any of them had put their hands in the pierced sides of Christ.

When none of them said yes, he rejected all their testimony. *Remember, believe does not establish the existence of what does not exist,nor nullifies what does exist*.

To Thomas, Jesus never appeared to them,if he did then he needed to reappear so he could get the evidence of his convince. And when eventually Jesus appeared and he did all he wanted to do,he exclaimed: *My Lord and my God*.

And Jesus used that very opportunity to make a statement that has intergenerational effects: *You believe because you have seen me, blessed are those who have not seen me and yet believe*. If not because of Thomas, this statement wouldn’t have been made. And it has been used to strengthen the believers’ faith.

Paul says to his followers: *Have reasons you can tell the unbelievers about your believe in Christ Jesus*. Evidence is more convincing, this is why the law Court makes a great use of it. Without a convincing evidence, judgement will not be delivered, otherwise it amounts to miscarriage of Justice.

Though Faith means believe in the existence of things not seen, you should not abandon the use of your reasoning entirely all because you have faith.

One man wants to build a house in his village and immediately another man who claims to be a pastor visited him and told him that he would die if he lay the foundation of the house, saying that it was revealed to him.

The pastor was from the same kindred with the man. So the man summoned a meeting of the kindred and announced there in the meeting that if anything should happen to him, the pastor should be held responsible.After some days, that pastor was caught burying in the midnight,a person he has killed. Do you see what the pastor really meant now?

Just like Thomas, don’t just believe blindly because it is your church leader that said it. Express yourself politely before people in areas that require more explanations for you to believe an idea or concept.

In the light of the above therefore, do not act, do not believe, when you are not convinced. If you insist, the Master will find a way to explain things to you. *Hence, He sees and knows the hearts of men*
